Coventry City Council — Automatic Rising Security Bollards

As part of public realm improvements to the city centre, Coventry City Council installed two sets of rising bollards, one at the entrance to Broadgate and one at Trinity Street, in order to prevent vehicular access other than for delivery, loading and emergency access.

With the bollards installed the area is safer for pedestrians, providing the protection required whilst fitting in with the look of the surrounding area.
