Macs Automated Bollards are able to offer a range of effective traffic indicator and access control columns to work with all of our automatic rising bollards.
Our traffic indicators, or TIACs, are 2m in height, fitted with LED displays and are designed to highways TR2207A standards. They come with a number of options such as painted or stainless steel finish, bespoke engraving, and integrated intercom.
The most common access control option used for automatic rising bollards is the use of an intercom system. The intercom is fitted into the traffic indicator post, and when the call button is pushed, calls through to a set landline or mobile number where access to the system can be given through the push of a button.
Macs Automated Bollards use a number of different access control options, for a number of different rising bollard systems. one of these is a Vehicle Tag Reader System, most commonly used with Bus Gates and other similar systems to allow access for authorised vehicles.
Another of the access control options used by Macs with its rising bollards is an ANPR Vehicle Number Plate Recognition System. The ANPR system works with the rising bollard system to allow access to a number of authorised vehicles through recognition of slected vehicle number plates programmed into the ANPR system.
